- This website arose out of a four year project with hundreds of man hours from organizers, students and faculty from a desire to ease medical student burden in navigating the medical career process(MCP) specifically in the transition from UME to GME.
- A pilot virtual retreat was conducted in 2022, coaching was added in order to expand the skill set for students and that project was funded by the American Medical Association (AMA)
- The project consisted of a virtual inter-instutional multi-speciality retreat and brief large group coaching as well as individual coaching adapted to meet the needs of local students
- Both the organizers and the PD’s serve as advisors, mentors and coaches to medical students and brought a wealth of experience to this project.
